Finding a large size home in Ghaziabad

The latest report of PropIndex, an India Apartment Index showed a clear preference for larger homes in Ghaziabad. As per its latest edition (Jan-Mar 2015), 3BHK category witnessed a rise in preference in Ghaziabad. A significant rise of 10 per cent was noted in the demand for 3BHK units which was completely the opposite in the previous quarter. The earlier quarter witnessed more demand for 2BHK residential units.
Ghaziabad is known for its swift connectivity within all NCR locations and is a preferred residential destination among IT professionals working in the IT hubs of Greater Noida and Noida. Shivani Mehrotra, currently working with an IT company in Sector 62 says, “I preferred to buy a 3BHK home in Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad firstly due to ease of connectivity and secondly owing to the growing family needs (children needing extra space). Ghaziabad is an affordable option as compared to the neighbouring Noida.”

Data with Magicbricks further reveals that a 3BHK apartment in Raj Nagar Extension in Ghaziabad will cost you anywhere between Rs 25 lakh to 85 lakh with sizes varying from 1000 to 2500 sq ft. The locality offers both under construction and ready-to-move-in apartments which could be either - furnished, semi-furnished and un-furnished. Possession of majority of the under construction properties is scheduled for end of the year 2016.
Ghaziabad offers 3BHK units within a budget of Rs 20 lakh to Rs 2 crore. The sizes of such apartments varies from 1200 to 3000 sq ft. Ghaziabad offers free hold properties with all basic to luxury amenities.    
Neelam an existing owner in Ghaziabad locality says, “Ghaziabad is a good locality in terms of social infrastructure. Presence of schools, malls, hospitals and banks make it favourable for buyers. Swift connectivity via. National Highway 24, 91 and 48 also helps in increasing the preference quotient.”
