The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) on June 3 announced the auction of 28 commercial plots in various sectors. The plots across two categories, ranging in sizes 1,400 to 25,000 square metres, have been reserved at Rs 46,190 to Rs 60,000 per square meter, respectively.
The starting bid of these plots will open at Rs 6.46 crore and Rs 150 crore respectively and successful bids will be finalized on June 26, 2015. These plots are located in sectors 36, 37, Beta-02, Alpha-02, Delta-01, Gamma-01, Eta-01, Zeta-01 and Swarn Nagri.
According to officials, development of the commercial plots for category 1 will allow a 40% permissible ground coverage with a maximum floor area ratio of 2 and a maximum height of 24 metres. "These plots range from 1,400 to 8,600 sq m in size," said a senior GNIDA official. The bidding will open at Rs 6.47 crore for the smallest plot and Rs 39.72 crore for the largest.
For commercial plots falling in Category 2 of the scheme, the GNIDA development norms will apply. "While a 40% permissible ground coverage will be allowed for these plots, a maximum floor area ration of 4 will be allowed. The buildings constructed on these plots will be limited in terms of height," the official said.
