NOIDA: In a bid to bring transparency in property records, the Noida Authority will soon make information available to its allottees at the click of a mouse and which will be accessible from anywhere in the world. As per officials, details will be online by the end of April 2016.
According to officials, the project aims at bringing all properties of Noida, whether industrial, residential, institutional or commercial, under its purview. Allottees have been demanding for property details to be put online for a long time. At present, the authority has uploaded only 129 group housing property details online.
The proposed project will save allottees from standing in long queues and wasting man hours, officials said. Logging in to the web portal of the Authority will give allottees all information related to their property. The online system will enable the allottees to know the exact status of their property, installments towards property, water/sewer charges, lease rent, interest, penalties, surcharge, etc. Currently, allottees have to undergo a tedious and time-consuming procedure besides numerous trips to the Authority.
Once the government body goes hi-tech, not only will allottees be able to access information about the property they own, officials in the Authority will also be able to retrieve information about any property within minutes.
Last week, Lucknow based social activist Nutan Thakur has also written to Akhilesh Yadav Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh demanding that all property details in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad be put online without delay.
