NEW DELHI: Realtors' body National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) has elected Parveen Jain, chairman and managing director of Tulip Infratech, as its new President for a two-year term (2015-2017). Sunil Mantri, chairman and managing director, Mantri Realty Ltd., was elected as Chairman, at NAREDCO's 17th Annual General Meeting, held on September 30. Other elected mambers include Rajeev Talwar, CEO, DLF Limited as VP, North region; Rajan N Bandelkar, Director, Unnathi Estate (Raunak Group) & President, NAREDCO West Foundation as VP, West region; Manoj Kumar Tripathy, MD, Satyabadi Construction & President, NAREDCO Odisha as VP, East region; Ashok Patni, CEO, The Trading Corporation of Rajasthan & Vice Chairman, Rajasthan State Real Estate Development Council as VP, Central region; and R Chalapathi Rao, Managing Partner, Sirisampada Constructions & Chief Convener, NAREDCO Telangana as VP, South region. Rajesh Arora, Managing Director, Arora & Associates Infradevelopers were also elected member finance for the 2 year term.
NAREDCO was formed in 1998 under the aegis of Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India, to represent all stakeholders of the real estate sector. The Union Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation is its Chief Patron.
